Students at Ossett School have been involved in the production of a series of radio shows which have been broadcasted internally at the school.
Besides music, broadcasts have also included a wide range of student generated content including staff interviews, match reports, movie reviews and national / local news.
The shows are an excellent medium for the 'Student Voice' and are broadcasted via the school Virtual Learning Environment. They have received a favourable response from both Students and Staff accross the school.
Students have devoted many lunchtimes learning how to operate the broadcasting equipment and also in developing a professional approach to production.
We hope that in the near future the school will be able to broadcast via a local FM community licence and also by the internet.
